Death @ my doorstep sounds like a horror story with a sad ending..but when Khuswant Singh writes on death its a lil more better..on things like
1.Nearing Death
2.On the hit list
3.Life after death
4.From the death sentence to gallows
Its a lovely book and shows perspectives of people who knew death is @ their doorstep..
He writes about Zulfikar Ali's death sentence and his last feelings in the jail..he writes about the Amrita Shergill ( wht a bold women @ tat age..) ..also about Sanjay Gandhi..Chetan Anand..Nargis..etc. Read this one its a nice book.
N now am wondering waht it would like to be when u know Death is @ yur doorstep...I m honest..i don't want to arrive at tat situation..i wud love dying when i m fast asleep..painless ..death..no worries....

@ mia ..listener..all of us ..maybe wish the same..no one wants a painful death..so strange..when it comes to life..husband ..kids...travel..clothes..all of us various desires but when it comes 2 death..everyone has the same wish !! surprising na.
